  • Does NCF provide funding to nonprofits?

    Yes. We provide unrestricted grants through initiatives like The Giving Tank and our Propel Your Purpose incubator. We believe nonprofits should decide how best to use resources to fulfill their mission.

  • How do I apply for funding?

    Funding opportunities are announced to The Nonprofit Cooperative Nonprofit Associates first. Register for Free. Applications involve a short video and are reviewed by our Grants Committee.

  • What is grassroots organizations?

    Nonprofits under 1 million in revenue.

  • How can my nonprofit apply for support?

    We host opportunities such as our Propel Your Purpose Incubator and The Giving Tank, where nonprofits can pitch for funding and capacity-building support. Check our website regularly for application announcements and deadlines.

  • How does NCF measure impact?

    We track nonprofit growth through capacity-building outcomes such as increased fundraising, expanded programs, and stronger boards as well as the number of nonprofits served, grants awarded, and partnerships created.

    There is no fee for nonprofits 501(c)(3) to join the Cooperative.
