We've been meeting at least once a month to check in and talk about where I'm at with everything. Yesterday we checked in to touch base on Spring Grant cycles since I'm in the depths of that. She's also been helpful at getting us rooted in our mission statement as an organization.
The workshops have also been very informative as well, I usually attend one or two a month. I recall attending a few different "lunch and learns," including how to set up using a virtual administrative assistant, and building donor relations. I also attended one recently on how to make a website more appealing to donors. It's been interesting to see how other organizations function and navigate the nonprofit world, and I feel like I've gotten better at utilizing the community and resources our organization has access to.
I really appreciate your support through NCF and am so grateful for this wonderful opportunity.

The training broke down the process of running a nonprofit into manageable steps. What seemed like an overwhelming maze of boards, paperwork and “where will the money come from” were made into a less formidable list of tasks and manageable to do lists.
We have been able to build almost 1200 one-month kits and delivered them to Rocking Horse Community Health Center, Clark County School District, several local food banks, Clark County Public Libraries, and Dayton Public School. We also spent a little of it on Thank You cards as a way to start building our donor base. All thanks to the funds we received from your organization.”
